Terms & Policies

Last updated: February 16, 2026

This page combines Teamboard's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By accessing or using Teamboard, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Scope

Teamboard is a decision-support platform that assembles AI advisors to analyze and debate user questions. Current product capabilities include:

  • Create reusable AI boards with custom seats, roles, and model assignments.
  • Run multi-step deliberations, including Auto-Council, board voting, and assembly-style challenge flows.
  • Use voice sessions for live boardroom conversations.
  • Generate and manage thread artifacts like case files, decisions, and shared thread links.
  • Connect via MCP integrations and API keys for programmatic use.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any API credentials connected to Teamboard. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it if it changes.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions performed through your API keys or shared links you create.

3. Plans, Billing, and Third-Party Costs

Teamboard may offer free and paid plans (including trial access). Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe when enabled and are subject to Stripe's terms.

Model inference costs are generally tied to your configured OpenRouter key. Any third-party model usage is governed by the terms and pricing of those providers.

Feature limits and quotas (such as board count, memory behavior, or voice-session limits) can vary by plan and may change over time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Teamboard for any prohibited activity, including:

  • Violating laws or infringing others' rights.
  • Submitting malicious code, abuse traffic, or attempts to disrupt the Service.
  • Using the Service to create fraud, impersonation, harassment, or harmful misinformation.
  • Trying to access data, accounts, models, or infrastructure without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or violations of these terms.

5. Your Content and Outputs

You retain ownership of content you submit to Teamboard. You grant Teamboard the rights needed to host, process, and transmit that content to operate the Service.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

6. Professional Advice Disclaimer

Teamboard provides informational assistance only. It does not provide legal, medical, tax, investment, or other licensed professional advice. Consult qualified professionals before making high-stakes decisions.

7. Availability and Product Changes

We may update, add, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, model continuity, or permanent access to any specific feature, integration, or provider.

8. Termination

You may stop using Teamboard at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or serious terms violations.

9. Warranty and Liability Limits

Teamboard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teamboard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Privacy Policy: What We Collect

To provide Teamboard, we process data such as:

  • Account data (for example email, user ID, and session metadata).
  • Configuration data (for example selected settings, board definitions, and encrypted API-key settings).
  • User content (for example prompts, thread messages, case file entries, and generated outputs).
  • Usage and operational data (for example feature usage, token/cost telemetry, and error logs).
  • Billing metadata for paid subscriptions (processed through Stripe where enabled).

11. Privacy Policy: How We Use Data

  • Operate, secure, and improve Teamboard features.
  • Run model requests you initiate and return results.
  • Enforce plan limits, abuse protections, and product safety controls.
  • Provide customer support, diagnostics, and billing administration.

Teamboard does not use your content to train Teamboard-owned foundation models.

12. Privacy Policy: Data Sharing

We share data with subprocessors only as needed to run the Service, including:

  • OpenRouter and selected model providers for inference requests.
  • Stripe for subscription and payment handling.
  • Magic for authentication flows.
  • Hosting, storage, and analytics providers needed to run the Service.

Shared thread links are accessible to anyone who has the tokenized URL. Treat shared links as public.

13. Privacy Policy: Security and Retention

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption for stored API keys where configured. No system is perfectly secure.

Data retention varies by feature and plan. For example, free plans may have shorter effective board-memory windows than paid plans.

14. Policy Updates

We may update these Terms & Policies from time to time. Continued use of Teamboard after updates means you accept the revised terms.

If you do not agree with a revision, discontinue use of Teamboard and any associated API credentials.

Questions about these Terms & Policies can be sent through Teamboard support channels.
